   Yes, it is compatible with the pre-record function when powered with a 16-24V, 30VA transformer. This feature is expected to be available from early December 2023. The existing chime needs to be bypassed when using this function.

3. Does Video Doorbell E340 support 5 GHz Wi-Fi? Can I remove the battery when using Video Doorbell E340 in wired mode?
   No, it only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The doorbell is powered by the battery and must remain installed, even when used in wired mode.
